This is what I'm doing tonight......TRYING to "scrap" a little bit. I have been coming back to this layout for a good 2 weeks (those of you who who do this, you know what i mean:):):)My nice hubby got me the CRICUT machine for Christmas. It is really fun and I think I know how to use it now!!! I go through scrap booking lulls and this little machine made me excited again! :)
The other pics are of Parker in his new fuzzy Crocs. He loves wearing Crocs in the non-winter months but we didn't get him any for this winter. I caved and bought the fuzzy kind for winter. They are so cozy and easy for him to slip on. He is a happy boy wearing them:)

Hi there! Not much new to report today. Jeremy has been home for the past 3 days with Strep Throat. Parker had Scarlet Fever a few weeks ago and is now home with a fever and vomitting. I am starting to get a swollen gland and sore throat........I keep telling myself it is just a cold......:0.....hopefully, NO Strep for me.... We have a had a very healthy winter thus far, hopefully this all passes quickly. We have had so many absences this week in our classrooms, especially in Kindergarten and first grade.........there was even talk of shutting down our wing! Well, back to work, have a great day!

We have been trying out a new tradition at our house on Sunday nights, "Pancake Picnic" night." Parker LOVES pancakes. I lay out a blanket on the dining room floor and we eat our pancakes --picnic style. As you can see I attempted a Mickey Mouse pancake for Parker......it is not very good, tho. I had to tell him who it was........he liked it anyway:) My Mom and Dad always made us Mickey Mouse pancakes, too. While I think Parker probably prefers Grandpa Jeff's pancakes, he still eats 2-3 of mine:)

We made a tent in Parker's room a few days ago. He is really in to hiding....under the covers, under the couch cushions, behind the door, in his closet, etc. He loves to read books in his tents and use his flashlight. He also like to say he's scared in the tent, too. Actually, he is sort of a scardey- cat:), but I that's okay.:)

Parker was sick with Scarlet Fever this week. Who knew people still got Scarlet Fever?? I didn't. I guess it is another strain of Strep throat that forms a rash along with a fever. He got to stay at home with Daddy and play dinosaurs for two days while I went to work.:)
Jeremy, his brother Micheal, and a few other guys are going to the Drake/ISU basketball game tonight. They will be staying overnight so Parker and I will have a "date night" together. I think we will play his Diego board game, eat some pizza, and watch "Calliou." It is like -25 wind chill so I doubt we step out of the house!:)
